We have had a busy summer so far and it's just begun!
This week, clay camp is going on in the mornings from 9:00-11:00 and the afternoons from 1:30-3:30, they're doing amazing things with Ness Kent, she's really got a gift for teaching. If you come by the studio during her camp times, peek in on what they're doing and what they've done! She will be back soon for adults too- sgraffito anyone?

I will let everyone know when we have weekend hours. I will be taking Saturdays off but Emily and Darlene have both volunteered to cover one a month so I will let you know as those are scheduled. Please thank them for their time! Sundays will be hit or miss, I know it is nice to plan ahead but I will let you know if I am heading over so that you can come too if you'd like!
Donna Jones is starting her beginner's Hand Building class, Made by Hand Thursday June 9th. This is a six week class which meets from 5:30-7:00. If you are coming by during her class time, please use the clay room when you are working so her class has the space they need. She is working out when to schedule her intermediate class, I will let everyone know as soon as I can since I know several members mentioned being interested in that one.
Susan Bergman is coming in August! Feathered Finery will be a 3 day workshop, August 19-21. It's all about birds. Susan delves into her sculptural work with so many details, the tricks and tips you learn from her are invaluable for any work you might want to try. Several have already registered for this, please don't miss your spot and register early if you are planning to be there! Share the word too, if you know anyone who may be interested, pass the info along! If you know you will be attending and prefer to pay by check, let me know and we will reserve your spot. Studio members are given a $30 discount on this class by entering the code bwokbwok in the coupon code prompt. Please remember to do this, we will not be able to go back and retroactively apply the coupon if you forget. If you are paying by check your total is $195.
Beginning Wheel class begins August 15th and meets Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30. This class is ideal for anyone in high school and up, if you know any aspiring potters, let them know this class is online and open for registration. If you need or want a refresher, this one is perfect for that. This class already has enough students registered that it will definitely happen so if you are planning to learn or relearn the wheel and would prefer to pay by check, please let me know so your spot can be saved for you.

Please use the Clay Room when you are working during camp hours. There are a few camps which still have spots. We had a request from a mom for a Littles Camp June 13-16 from 3:00-3:45, this one still needs three kids to make, if you know anyone with creative kids who is interested during this week, please send them to the website to register!
