Take your wheel throwing to the next level!  This two day workshop is designed to guide those with experience on the wheel to their next level of creativity.  Learn to throw larger pieces, thinner pieces, lids, surface decoration and finishing techniques.  Saturday October 17, 10AM to 4PM and Sunday October 18, 1PM to 4PM.  Student skill level and interest will be taken into consideration for project focus.  Ability to center and throw both bowls and cylinders recommended for class.  Basic wheel tools required:  bucket, large sponge, throwing sponge, trimming tools, ribs, apron, towel or other clothing protection.  Demonstrations will be brief to allow as much time working on the wheel as possible.  Taught by Sarah Freeman.

Intermediate Wheel Throwing Class October 17&18

  • We at MSFA take health and safety seriously.  Masks are required for all in studios.  Surfaces are being cleaned regularly.  Please wear your mask while in the buildings. 

    Should MSFA feel it is unsafe to proceed with a workshop due to concerns regarding COVID-19, students will be notified as early as possible and may either be refunded or may carry tuition over to rescheduled course dates.
