Vases with Conner Burns

This is a skills building class for those who a.ready have basic wheel skills- centering and throwing a cylinder. Conner will demonstrate a technique for throwing four different vases, one each week then be available to work with students during class time to answer their questions. In between each class session, participants are encouraged to practice the technique and return to the next class with their work to be discussed with Conner to help them refine their skills. Class meets January 6, 27, February 17, and March 10 from 6:00-8:00 with thirty minutes after class allowed for cleaning up.

Clay is not included in this class. Students can bring their own or purchase clay through the school. Firing is not included in this class. Please ask about firing services for your work.

Students will need the tools they use for throwing , a one gallon bucket, and a towel.
